Glory Baby Ministry’s mission is to bring glory to God by caring for those grieving through pregnancy and infant loss.

Derby Darlins presented by Magnolia Lane Catering, benefits Glory Baby Ministry.

Glory Baby Ministry specialize in making burial gowns or memorial packages for parents grieving a miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant loss.

​They respect that the grieving process is different for every family. Therefore, they will send a package no matter if the loss was recent or years ago.


Magnolia Lane Catering is our presenting sponsor and they have created an upscale Menu for YOU! When you enter The Charleston you will smell the amazing meal they have prepared. Alcohol is NOT served at our event. We will have mock mint juleps, sweet tea and water on site. Our mock mint juleps provided by Magnolia Lane Catering are absolutely AMAZING!

As you walk into the doors of The Charleston your senses will be filled with the aroma of a delicious dinner being prepared by our Millionaire Row Sponsor, Magnolia Lane Catering.

You will get to gaze at the beautiful venue, The Charleston, and see the amazing table settings provided by Living Luxuriously For Less.

​The desserts provided at each seat is going to grab your attention with the derby themed treats being provided by TBA.

The centerpiece arrangements are uniquely made by TBA.

Our DJ, Brady Chaney, is going to rock the house with his Emcee Skills. We have some surprises in store for those that attend. Our event photographer, Keelan Walker, is going to capture the beauty of the Venue and our models.

You are NOT going to want to miss out on this event!

​​Let’s not forget the highlight of the event is the DERBY HATS. Female models (wearing the derby hats being auctioned off) will be escorted down the gorgeous staircase by our male models. After you get the winning bid on that beautiful Derby Hat, be sure to stop by the Blue Jae Booth and have your photo taken.

​Tanner Roberts, 2019 Kentucky State Champion Auctioneer, will keep our guests entertained with his enthusiastic auctioneering.

BRING EXTRA CASH OR CHECKS…remember we have some surprises up our sleeves and you are going to want to come prepared! We will be accepting credit cards, but cash and check help us to avoid the processing fees.

​Parking is available on the downtown square or behind The Charleston. If the parking lots are full, there is Parking available in the Parking Structure beside the Hot Rods Stadium…you would have to walk a bit to get to The Charleston.

​If you are facing Spencer’s Coffee on the downtown Square then you will see the entrance to The Charleston to the left. See the photo that says “Charleston” for what the entrance looks like from The Square. This is the handicap accessible entrance.

​After 5:00pm there is parking available behind The Charleston. This entrance is NOT handicap accessible and there are stairs leading up to the backdoor. We have included a photo of what the back of the building looks like below.


Business Casual to Semi-Formal (pant suits, dress pants and blouse to flowy dresses and derby attire! Preferably no jeans and no t-shirts. We request that you do NOT wear a derby hat, so there is no confusion on the hats that will be auctioned off. This is the event you attend that will help prepare you for all those future Derby Gatherings.


Our “professional” Models are a big highlight at our event. We would love for you to check out the community “celebrities” we have lined up for 2023. Our female models will be wearing clothing from Pappagallo and Hair Styles provided by Regina Webb.


We are monitoring the CDC guidelines closely. Liberty Imaging is providing each attendee with a personal hand sanitizer.

Due to the size of the Venue, social distancing will not be enforced.

Mask and vaccination status are not required to attend our Derby Darlins event. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, then feel free to do so. We will not be performing temperature checks. We are trusting our attendees to be mindful of your health and the health of those at the event.

If you have tested positive for Covid, are showing signs of Covid or another contagious illness we do ask that you refrain from attending our event.
